FKM (Viton)

FKM Fluoro elastomer (Fluorocarbon) Viton® Dupont registered, known as Tecnoflon, Fluorel, Dai-El. Good for hot water, acid, alkali, oils, hydrocarbons and salt solutions, many aggressive chemicals, diluted acids, weak alkali's, mineral oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, sunlight and ozone. -26°C to +205°C. Poor resistance to Ketone's and Acetone.

PTFE (Teflon)

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) also known as Teflon® Dupont registered. Excellent resistance to almost every fluid or gas. -200°C to +230°C

The valve is equipped with clear cover or dome under which an arrow or flag can be seen to confirm either the open and or closed position of the valve.
