Description
Shako Differential Pressure Gauge Mounting Gasket – UMF06 & UMF08
Genuine Shako KUX0001001 mounting gasket / adaptor seal designed to fit between the Shako differential pressure gauge and the filter body on UMF06 and UMF08 coalescing and activated carbon filters.
The gasket provides the correct mounting interface and seal between the square differential pressure gauge and the filter housing, allowing the gauge to monitor the pressure differential across the filter element.
Designed as a direct replacement spare for servicing or replacing the differential pressure gauge assembly on compatible Shako UMF filters.
Compatibility
Designed for use with the Shako differential pressure gauge fitted to:
UMF06 – 3/4" BSP filter
UMF08 – 1" BSP filter
Suitable for compatible Shako coalescing and activated carbon filter assemblies.
Installation Position
The KUX0001001 gasket is installed directly between the square differential pressure gauge and the main UMF filter body.
It should therefore be replaced if the differential pressure gauge is removed and the existing gasket is damaged, deteriorated or no longer provides a reliable seal.
Function
The differential pressure gauge provides a visual indication of pressure differential across the filter element, helping identify increasing restriction as the filter element becomes contaminated.
The KUX0001001 provides the mounting and sealing interface required between this gauge and the filter housing.
