SHAKO 5µm & 40µm Sintered Brass Filter Elements – 3/4" & 1"
Genuine SHAKO replacement sintered brass filter elements for compatible 3/4" and 1" pneumatic filters, filter regulators and FRL air treatment equipment.
Available in 5 micron or 40 micron filtration, the porous sintered brass construction provides a robust, durable alternative to polyethylene filter elements for compressed-air filtration.
Designed for the larger SHAKO U Series 3/4" and 1" air preparation units.

5 Micron or 40 Micron?
5 Micron
Provides finer filtration where improved removal of smaller solid particles from the compressed-air supply is required.
40 Micron
Suitable for general-purpose pneumatic filtration where effective removal of larger solid contamination is required with lower airflow restriction.
For routine maintenance, replace the existing element with the same micron rating originally fitted unless the filtration requirements have been reviewed.
Sintered Brass Construction
The porous sintered brass structure provides a strong and durable filtration medium for industrial compressed-air systems.
Compared with a PE element, the metallic construction is particularly useful where a more robust replacement element is preferred.

Replacement & Maintenance
During operation, solid contamination removed from the compressed-air supply gradually accumulates within the filter element.
A contaminated element can increase pressure drop and restrict airflow through the FRL system. Periodic inspection and replacement helps maintain efficient filtration and reliable downstream pneumatic equipment operation.
