The Shako MSV8652 is a compact 5/2 way mechanical pneumatic valve designed for reliable manual and mechanically actuated control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders, actuators and industrial compressed air systems.

Available in 1/8" and 1/4" BSP port sizes, the MSV8652 offers a wide choice of operators including roller lever, twist selector, palm buttons, stop-cock button and push-pull control, allowing the same valve platform to suit a variety of machine control and pneumatic automation applications.

Operating from zero pressure up to 9 Bar, the robust aluminium alloy valve can be panel mounted or installed on moving equipment such as pneumatic cylinders and slides, making it suitable for manual control, mechanical position sensing and pneumatic sequencing. Shako specifically identifies installation on moving devices and the variety of operating styles as key features of the MSV8652 Series.

Valve Operation

The MSV8652 provides direct mechanical control of a 5/2 way pneumatic circuit without requiring electrical power or a solenoid coil.
Operating the valve changes the compressed-air supply and exhaust connections between the two actuator ports, allowing extension and retraction of a double-acting pneumatic cylinder or operation of a double-acting pneumatic actuator.
Depending on the selected operator, the valve can be manually controlled using a push button, selector or push-pull operator, or mechanically actuated using the roller lever.

Mounting & Installation

The MSV8652 is suitable for panel mounting with a standard 30mm panel bore and optional 25mm configuration.
The valve can also be installed on moving devices such as pneumatic cylinders and slides, allowing mechanical movement to directly operate the pneumatic valve.

The Shako MSV8652 combines a robust aluminium alloy body with a simple mechanical 5/2 way operating principle for dependable pneumatic control without electrical power.
Its choice of 1/8" and 1/4" ports, multiple operator styles and zero minimum operating pressure allow the same valve platform to be used for manual machine control, mechanical actuation, pneumatic sequencing and general industrial automation.
With effective flow areas of 14mm² and 18mm² according to port size, the MSV8652 provides significantly greater pneumatic flow capacity than the smaller MSV8632 3/2 way series.
