3/4" WRAS Modulating Motorised Ball Valve 40 Bar ABV06W/9M


The ABV06W/9M 3/4" WRAS approved modulating motorised ball valve provides accurate proportional water flow control using a 4–20mA, 0–10V or 0–5V analogue control signal.

Combining a WRAS approved nickel-plated CW617N brass ball valve with an IP67 electronic actuator, the valve can be positioned throughout its 90° operating range rather than simply switching fully open or closed.

The actuator provides approximately 1.2° positioning accuracy across 75 positions, with a full opening or closing time of approximately 12 seconds. A 4–20mA position feedback output and separate status/fault signal allow easy integration with PLC, BMS and industrial process control systems.

An optional modulating failsafe actuator is also available for applications requiring automatic valve return following loss of electrical power.

Precision Modulating Flow Control

The ABV06W/9M accepts an analogue control signal and automatically positions the valve to regulate flow.

This provides significantly greater control than a conventional ON/OFF motorised ball valve and makes the ABV06W/9M particularly suitable for BMS, HVAC and proportional water flow control.

The 4–20mA feedback allows the actual valve position to be monitored independently by a suitable PLC, BMS or process controller.

Modulating Failsafe Option

The optional ABVW/9MAR combines proportional modulating control with automatic failsafe return following electrical power failure.
During normal operation the valve follows the selected analogue control signal. If the electrical supply is lost, the failsafe system automatically returns the valve to its predetermined safe position.
This is particularly useful for water systems where a defined valve position is required following loss of power.

Manual Override & Position Indication

A manual override allows the valve to be operated manually during commissioning, maintenance or loss of control signal.
The integral visual indicator provides immediate confirmation of the valve's approximate mechanical position.
