4-20mA Modulating Quarter Turn Electric Valve Actuator
The ABV9M-E2-MO is a precision quarter turn electric actuator designed for proportional control of ball valves, butterfly valves and other rotary valves. Offering accurate positioning in 75 steps across the full 90° rotation, it provides smooth process control for water treatment, HVAC, chemical dosing and industrial automation systems.
The actuator accepts a standard 4-20mA control signal with optional 0-5V or 0-10V input versions. Continuous position feedback, fault indication, manual override and optional capacitor failsafe provide reliable closed-loop control for demanding applications.

Standard or Failsafe Operation

Failsafe versions use integrated Farah capacitors to automatically return the actuator to its preset safe position following loss of the power supply.
Reliability Proven
The ABV modulating actuator has also undergone extensive long-term endurance testing.
An actuator fitted to a 1½" stainless steel ball valve was continuously cycled every 60 seconds using an SVDT22 digital cycle timer, operating 24 hours per day.
By 30 June 2022, the actuator had successfully completed 876,962 open and close cycles while remaining fully operational, demonstrating exceptional long-term reliability under continuous testing.
