Description
Polyurethane Pneumatic Tubing – Ether PU Air & Water Tube
Flexible ether-based polyurethane pneumatic tubing for compressed air, water, automation and industrial pneumatic systems.
Ether PU tubing combines excellent flexibility and elasticity with superior resistance to hydrolysis, making it particularly suitable for applications involving water, humidity, condensation and repeated moisture exposure.
The smooth surface and tight bend capability make the tubing ideal for pneumatic push-in fittings, machinery, control systems and installations where tubing is repeatedly flexed or routed through confined spaces.
Ether-based polyurethane also performs well in low-temperature and weather-exposed environments. For outdoor applications, black tubing is preferred where improved resistance to UV exposure is required.
Available in metric and imperial sizes, with multiple colour options for pneumatic and fluid circuit identification.

Why Choose Ether-Based PU Tubing?
Ether-based polyurethane is particularly suited to pneumatic and fluid applications involving water, humidity, condensation, repeated movement or demanding routing requirements.
Its excellent hydrolysis resistance provides improved durability where tubing is regularly exposed to moisture, while its flexibility and small bend radius make installation easier around machinery and through confined spaces.
The smooth outer surface is suitable for standard pneumatic push-in fittings matched to the tubing outside diameter.
For outdoor installations, black Ether PU tubing is the preferred colour where increased resistance to UV exposure is required.
Ether PU vs Ester PU Tubing
Both Ether PU and Ester PU provide excellent flexibility for pneumatic systems, but their resistance characteristics make them better suited to different applications.
Ether PU → Water, humidity, condensation, outdoor environments and repeated moisture exposure.
Ester PU → General-purpose compressed air, indoor machinery and applications where good oil and grease resistance is important.
For normal dry indoor compressed-air systems, Ester PU is an excellent general-purpose choice.
Where water or prolonged moisture exposure is expected, Ether PU is generally the preferred option due to its superior hydrolysis resistance.
