Description
Shako 5 & 40 Micron PE Filter Elements – Miniature FRL
Genuine Shako polyethylene (PE) replacement pneumatic filter elements for Shako miniature compressed-air filters and FRL air treatment units.
Available in 40 micron and 5 micron filtration options, allowing the replacement element to be selected according to the required level of compressed-air filtration.
Designed as replacement elements for compatible Shako FRL700A, FRL700C, FRL600A, FRL600C, F200A and F200C miniature air treatment units.

NUS0032041 – 40 Micron PE Filter Element
General-purpose compressed-air filtration for compatible Shako miniature filters and FRL units.
NUS0032042 – 5 Micron PE Filter Element
Finer compressed-air filtration where improved particulate removal is required.

The filter element traps particulate contamination from the compressed-air supply to help protect downstream pneumatic valves, cylinders, regulators and other equipment.
5 Micron or 40 Micron?
40 Micron → General-purpose compressed-air filtration where removal of larger particulate contamination is required.
5 Micron → Finer filtration where smaller particulate contamination needs to be removed from the compressed-air supply.
The appropriate filtration level should be selected according to the requirements of the downstream pneumatic equipment.
Maintenance
Filter elements should be periodically inspected and replaced as part of routine compressed-air system maintenance.
Replacement frequency depends upon air quality, compressor condition, operating environment and the level of contamination within the pneumatic system.
Always isolate the compressed-air supply and fully depressurise the filter bowl before servicing.
