1/8" Brass Solenoid Valve – SHAKO PU220AR-01
The SHAKO PU220AR-01 is a compact 1/8" 2/2 way normally closed direct acting brass solenoid valve designed for reliable control of compressed air, water, light oils and compatible neutral fluids.
Its direct acting design requires no minimum operating pressure, making the PU220AR-01 suitable for both pressure and vacuum applications. The compact 22mm wide forged brass body and low-power coil make it particularly suitable for OEM equipment, control panels, laboratory equipment and general industrial automation where installation space is limited.
Available with NBR, FKM (Viton), EPDM or HNBR seals and optional ATEX / IECEx explosion-protected solenoid operators, the PU220AR-01 can be configured for a wide range of industrial fluid control applications.

Compact Direct Acting Design
The SHAKO PU220AR-01 combines a compact forged brass body with simple direct acting operation for dependable fluid control from zero pressure differential.
Unlike pressure-assisted diaphragm valves, the PU220AR-01 does not require upstream pressure to operate. Energising the solenoid directly moves the internal plunger, providing quick response and making the valve suitable for low-pressure and vacuum applications.
The compact 1/8" body is particularly useful in OEM equipment, control cabinets and machinery where installation space is restricted. Despite its small size, the valve provides pressure capability up to 8.5 Bar with an AC coil and up to 7 Bar with a DC coil.
A choice of NBR, FKM, EPDM and HNBR sealing materials allows the valve to be configured for different media and temperature requirements, while optional explosion-protected ATEX / IECEx coils extend its use to suitable hazardous-area installations.
