High Flow Pilot-Operated Regulator for Industrial Pneumatic Systems
The Shako UAR20 Series Air Pressure Regulator is a pilot-operated piston regulator designed to provide exceptionally stable downstream pressure control in high-flow industrial compressed air systems.
Available with a 2" BSP connection, the UAR20 uses an external miniature pilot regulator to control the main regulator valve, providing smoother pressure regulation, improved stability and the ability to remotely control downstream pressure.
Its high flow capacity of 30,000 L/min makes the UAR20 ideal for large compressed air distribution systems, process equipment, manufacturing plants and industrial automation.
Pilot Pressure Regulation
Unlike a conventional direct-acting regulator, the UAR20 uses an external pilot regulator to control the main piston.
This arrangement provides highly stable outlet pressure while allowing the pilot regulator to be mounted remotely from the main air line where convenient.
The pilot line may be installed several metres from the main regulator, making the UAR20 ideal for remotely controlled pneumatic systems and installations where the pressure adjustment point needs to be located away from the main pipework.
