Dust, Coalescing and Activated Carbon Air Filter Units – Series YD

High-performance industrial air filtration units designed for dust, oil, water, and odor removal in compressed air systems. Suitable for demanding applications including offshore, food, and process industries.

Function & Operation

• Type: Dust, Coalescing, and Activated Carbon air filters
• Ports: 1½ in (YD145), 2 in (YD220, YD330), 2½ in (YD260, YD360, YD405), 3 in (YD430, YD620)
• Thread: BSPT standard, optional NPT
• Working Pressure: 16 Bar max
• Max Test Pressure: 32 Bar for 96 hours
• Burst Pressure: 105 Bar
• Temperature Range: +1.5 °C to +80 °C
• Service Life: 15 years (6,000–8,000 operating hours)
• Drain: Fully automatic and manual (except YD220 – manual only)

Construction & Materials

• Body: Strong die-cast aluminium alloy housing
• Surface Treatment: Cleaned, degreased, anti-corrosion coating before painting, suitable for offshore use
• Supplied: Fully assembled, boxed, with sight glass, differential pressure gauge, automatic drain, and manual drain valve (YD220 manual drain only)

Filter Element Options

• PF – 5 μm Primary Filter: ISO12500-3 solid particles >5 μm, ISO12500-1 50% oil removal, residual oil 5 mg/m³
• AO – 1 μm Coalescing: ISO12500-3 99.999+% particle removal, ISO12500-1 80+% oil removal, residual 0.6 mg/m³ oil + 1 ppm water
• AA – 0.01 μm Coalescing: ISO12500-3 99.999+% particle removal, ISO12500-1 99.9+% oil removal, residual <0.01 mg/m³ oil + 0.01 ppm water
• ACS – Activated Carbon: ISO12500-3 99.999+% particle removal, ISO12500-1 <0.004 mg/m³ oil + 0.003 ppm water

Configuration & Use

• Can be connected in parallel for compact twin or three-stage filter sets
• Allows prefilter → coalescing → activated carbon sequence for the purest compressed air quality

• Manufactured to International Standards ISO8753, ISO12500, ISO12500-1, ISO12500-2, ISO12500-3
• Performance parameters include air inlet oil content and solid particle size distribution
