Description
SHAKO 0.1µm Coalescing Filter Elements 1/4"-1"
Genuine SHAKO 0.1 micron coalescing filter elements for compatible compressed-air filters and multi-stage air treatment systems.
These red fine-filtration elements are designed to remove fine solid contamination together with entrained oil and water aerosols from compressed air, providing an intermediate high-efficiency filtration stage.
Available in two sizes covering SHAKO filter systems from 1/4" through to 1".

0.1 Micron Coalescing Filtration
The element provides fine compressed-air filtration by capturing small solid particles while coalescing microscopic oil and water aerosols into larger droplets.
These droplets migrate through the filter media, allowing them to separate from the compressed-air stream and collect within the filter bowl.
This filtration stage helps reduce:

Multi-Stage Compressed Air Treatment
The 0.1µm element is particularly useful as part of a progressive compressed-air filtration system.
A typical arrangement can use increasingly fine filtration stages to protect downstream equipment and improve delivered air quality:
Pre-Filter → 0.1µm Coalescing → 0.01µm Coalescing → Activated Carbon
The exact filter combination required depends upon the application and required compressed-air quality.
Maintenance & Replacement
Coalescing filter elements gradually accumulate contamination during operation. As the element becomes loaded, differential pressure across the filter increases and available airflow can fall.
Regular inspection and replacement helps maintain:
