SHAKO 5µm & 40µm Sintered Brass Filter Elements – 1/4"-1/2"
Genuine SHAKO replacement sintered brass filter elements for compatible 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" pneumatic filters, filter regulators and FRL air treatment equipment.
Available in 5 micron or 40 micron filtration, these robust porous metal elements remove solid contamination from compressed-air systems while providing a durable alternative to standard polyethylene (PE) filter elements.
Designed for compatible SHAKO U and UC Series 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" air preparation equipment.

5 Micron or 40 Micron?
5 Micron
Provides finer filtration for compressed-air systems requiring improved removal of smaller solid particles.
40 Micron
Provides general-purpose filtration for industrial pneumatic systems with lower airflow restriction.
For routine servicing, replace the existing element with the same micron rating originally fitted unless the filtration requirements of the system have changed.
Sintered Brass Construction
The porous sintered brass construction provides a strong and durable filtration medium for industrial compressed-air applications.
The metallic element is particularly useful where a more robust alternative to a polyethylene filter element is preferred.

Replacement & Maintenance
Solid contamination collected from the compressed-air supply gradually accumulates within the filter element during normal operation.
As contamination increases, airflow can become restricted and pressure drop across the filter can rise. Periodic inspection and replacement helps maintain effective filtration and reliable operation of downstream pneumatic equipment.
