Description
1/8"–1/2" Stainless Steel Latching Solenoid Valve Vacuum to 3.5 Bar – CS Fluid Power LADS612 Series
A compact range of direct-acting 2/2 way latching (bi-stable) 316 stainless steel solenoid valves designed for low-pressure fluid, gas and vacuum applications. The LADS612 Series requires power only during switching, making it ideal for battery-powered equipment, remote installations, water treatment systems, instrumentation and applications where minimising power consumption is important.
Available in 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" BSP port sizes with multiple orifice options, the LADS612 Series combines corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction with reliable latching operation and zero-pressure capability.

How Latching Operation Works
The LADS612 Series requires only a brief electrical pulse to change valve position.
A pulse with the correct polarity energises the internal magnetic actuator and opens the valve.
Once open, the valve remains open without consuming electrical power.
A reverse polarity pulse de-energises the internal magnet, causing the valve to close and remain closed without power.
To reopen the valve, simply reverse the polarity back to the original configuration and apply another pulse.
This latching technology dramatically reduces power consumption and heat generation compared with conventional continuously energised solenoid valves.
