3" Irrigation Solenoid Valve with PRV – PN22528APRV
The PN22528APRV is a heavy-duty 3" DN80 normally closed irrigation solenoid valve with integrated pressure reducing valve, designed to provide automatic water shut-off together with controlled downstream pressure.
The adjustable PRV allows the outlet pressure to be regulated from approximately 0.8 to 6.5 Bar, helping maintain a stable downstream pressure despite variations in the incoming water supply.
With its glass-fibre reinforced PA66 body, large 80mm flow path, manual override and anti-water-hammer design, the PN22528APRV is particularly suited to agricultural irrigation, sprinkler systems, greenhouse watering, landscaping and large underground water installations.

The pressure-assisted diaphragm requires sufficient inlet pressure for correct operation. The attached DN80 valve specification gives a minimum operating pressure of approximately 0.69 Bar and maximum working pressure of 10 Bar; for the PRV assembly I would retain your specified 0.8 Bar minimum.
Integrated Pressure Reducing Valve
The integrated PRV provides adjustable downstream water-pressure control from approximately: 0.8 to 6.5 Bar
Once adjusted, the regulator helps maintain a controlled outlet pressure, making the valve particularly useful where irrigation equipment requires a lower or more stable pressure than the incoming water supply.

Manual Override
The integrated manual override allows the valve to be operated manually for commissioning, maintenance and system testing without electrically energising the solenoid.
This is particularly useful on agricultural and underground irrigation systems where local manual operation may occasionally be required.
Anti-Water Hammer Design
The diaphragm valve incorporates controlled operation to help reduce sudden hydraulic shock when high water flows are stopped.
This is especially valuable with large 3" irrigation mains where rapid valve closure can otherwise generate substantial water hammer.
External Bleed & Easy Cleaning
The external bleed system incorporates a removable metering pin, providing convenient access for cleaning without completely dismantling the valve.
