316 Stainless Steel Air Line Lubricator – Shako USL Series
The Shako USL02, USL03 and USL04 are high-pressure 316 stainless steel compressed air lubricators designed to provide controlled oil-mist lubrication for pneumatic equipment operating at pressures up to 60 Bar.
Available with 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" ports, the USL Series combines full SUS316 stainless steel construction with flow capacities up to 4100 L/min, providing reliable lubrication for pneumatic valves, cylinders, actuators, air motors and air tools in demanding compressed-air systems.
With excellent corrosion and chemical resistance, ATEX approval and a stainless steel oil reservoir, the USL is particularly suited to high-pressure, corrosive and hazardous industrial environments where conventional aluminium air preparation equipment may be unsuitable.
Function & Operation
Function: Compressed air oil-mist lubrication
Media: Compressed air
The USL introduces a controlled quantity of lubricating oil into the compressed-air stream. The resulting oil mist is carried downstream to pneumatic equipment requiring continuous lubrication.
The adjustable oil feed allows the lubrication rate to be matched to the requirements of the pneumatic system, helping reduce friction and wear in moving components.
Recommended lubricant: ISO VG32 lubricating oil

This allows the stainless lubricator to be integrated into a wide range of industrial and process pneumatic systems.

Proof pressure: 80 Bar / approximately 1160 psi

This provides substantial compressed-air capacity for a compact stainless steel lubricator, with the 1/2" USL04 capable of up to 4100 L/min.

The stainless steel construction provides excellent resistance to corrosion and chemical attack, making the USL particularly suitable for demanding environments where conventional aluminium lubricators may deteriorate prematurely.
Oil Mist Lubrication
The USL produces a controlled oil mist which travels with the compressed-air supply to downstream pneumatic equipment.

The manufacturer recommends ISO VG32 lubricating oil for the USL Series.

Ambient operating temperature: -10°C to +70°C

The USL Series is suitable for hazardous-area pneumatic installations with the following markings:
II 2G Ex h IIC T4 Gb
II 2D Ex h IIIC T135°C Db

For oxygen applications, I would keep the wording as “oxygen cleaned option” rather than simply “suitable for oxygen”, because suitability depends on the complete system, lubricant selection, pressure and application requirements.

High Pressure Stainless Steel Lubrication
The key advantage of the USL02, USL03 and USL04 is the combination of high-pressure capability and full 316 stainless steel construction.
Conventional pneumatic lubricators are commonly designed for considerably lower pressures and often use aluminium or polymer bowls. The USL provides a stainless steel alternative capable of operating up to 60 Bar, while retaining adjustable oil-mist lubrication and high compressed-air flow.
This makes it particularly useful alongside 316 stainless steel filters and pressure regulators in complete high-pressure stainless steel FRL air-treatment assemblies.
