Brass 2/2 Latching Solenoid Valves
Brass 2/2 latching solenoid valves (bi-stable or pulse operated) maintain their position after a brief electrical pulse, eliminating the need for continuous power. This makes them ideal for energy-efficient systems and battery-powered applications. Unlike standard solenoid valves, latching valves use a momentary pulse to change state. A pulse opens the valve, while a reverse polarity pulse closes it, allowing the valve to remain in position without power consumption. Key Features: Latching / bi-stable operation Pulse operated (no continuous power required) Ultra-low energy consumption Maintains position without power Brass construction with BSP threaded connections Available in multiple voltages Typical Applications: Battery-powered systems Remote or off-grid installations Water control and irrigation systems Energy-efficient automation systems Safety and shut-off systems Latching solenoid valves are ideal where power consumption must be minimised or where continuous energisation is not practical.
