Full Flow Foot Valve & Self-Cleaning Suction Strainer – Z-Tide Industrial FVF-C / FVF-CE Series
The Z-Tide Industrial FVF Series is a premium full-flow foot valve with integrated self-cleaning suction strainer, designed to protect pumps, maintain suction prime and simplify maintenance in water pumping systems. Manufactured in cast iron or epoxy-coated cast iron, the FVF Series combines a full-flow non-return valve with a stainless steel debris screen and patented self-cleaning back-flush lever, allowing the filter screen to be cleaned without removing the valve from the water or re-priming the pump. Available with threaded or flanged connections, the FVF Series is ideal for irrigation, municipal water systems, industrial pumping stations and general water transfer applications.

Manufactured using heavy-duty cast iron or epoxy-coated cast iron bodies with a full-flow internal design, the Z-Tide Industrial FVF Series has been engineered for reliable long-term operation in demanding pumping applications. The stainless steel filter screen protects pumps against debris ingress while the integrated non-return valve prevents loss of suction and maintains pump prime between operating cycles. The patented self-cleaning lever enables accumulated debris to be flushed from the screen without removing the foot valve from the water or dismantling the suction line, significantly reducing maintenance time and eliminating the need to stop and re-prime the pump. The dual-centre guided shaft provides excellent operating stability, while the full-flow passage minimises pressure loss to maximise pump efficiency.
Ordering information
Simply select the required body material, connection type, valve size and flange standard before adding the valve to your basket. Optional epoxy-coated bodies, PN16 and ANSI 150 lb flanges together with EPDM seals are available to suit your application. Threaded FVT and flanged FVF versions are both available.
