Z-Tide Pressure Control Valve Seal Kit – RET RFT RLT Series
Replacement NBR or FKM/Viton seal kit for Z-Tide direct acting pressure control valves, including RET/REF pressure reducing valves, RFT/RFF back pressure valves and RLT/RLF pressure relief valves.
These genuine replacement seal sets are available for Z-Tide threaded and flanged pressure control valves and provide the principal internal sealing components required when servicing or overhauling the valve.
Seal kits are available for both the original pre-2020 valve design with the large diaphragm and the revised design manufactured from 2020 onwards without the large diaphragm.
Simply select the valve size, valve type and required seal material to match the existing Z-Tide pressure control valve.
Compatible Z-Tide Valve Series
The seal kits are designed for the following Z-Tide direct acting pressure control valve ranges.
RET / REF – Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV)
Designed for pressure reduction and downstream pressure regulation.
RET → Threaded pressure reducing valve

RFT / RFF – Pressure Sustaining / Back Pressure Valves (BPV)
Designed to maintain or sustain upstream pressure and provide back pressure control.

Seal Kit Contents
Depending upon valve model and generation, the replacement sealing components include:

The individual component dimensions vary according to valve size and model, so the correct valve type and port size should always be selected when ordering.
Seal Material Options
Two seal material options are available:
NBR – Nitrile Rubber
A general-purpose sealing material commonly used with air, water, oils and other compatible industrial fluids.
FKM / Viton
Provides increased temperature and chemical resistance for many demanding industrial fluids where NBR may not be appropriate.
Always check seal compatibility against the actual controlled media, concentration, pressure and operating temperature.
Original & Revised Valve Designs
The Z-Tide pressure control valve design was revised around 2020.
Original Design – Pre-2020
Earlier valves incorporate a large diaphragm within the sealing arrangement.
Revised Design – 2020 Onwards
Later valves use the revised internal arrangement without the large diaphragm.
Replacement seal kits are available for both generations.
When servicing an older installation, identifying whether the valve is the original or revised design is important to ensure that the correct replacement components are selected.

Selecting the Correct Seal Kit
To identify the correct replacement kit, select:
1. Valve Series
RET / REF → Pressure reducing
RFT / RFF → Pressure sustaining / back pressure
RLT / RLF → Pressure limiting / relief
2. Valve Port Size
Select the BSP or flanged DN size of the existing valve.
3. Seal Material
NBR or FKM/Viton
4. Valve Generation
Confirm whether the valve is the original pre-2020 design or the revised 2020-onwards design where applicable.
Maintenance & Servicing
Replacement of the internal seals can restore correct operation where an otherwise serviceable pressure control valve is experiencing deterioration caused by normal seal wear or ageing.
