Z-Tide Pressure Control Valve Replacement Springs – PRV / BPV / PLV
Replacement pressure control springs for Z-Tide direct-acting pressure reducing, pressure sustaining, back pressure and pressure limiting valves.
These genuine replacement springs allow the operating pressure range of compatible Z-Tide pressure control valves to be restored or changed without replacing the complete valve.
Available for multiple valve sizes and pressure ranges across the RELT, RELF, RET, REF, RFT, RFF, RLT and RLF Series.

Selecting the Correct Spring
Select the required valve size, pressure control function and operating pressure range before ordering.
For the most accurate pressure regulation, select a spring where your required operating pressure falls comfortably within the spring's adjustment range rather than at its minimum or maximum limit.
For example, where a pressure reducing valve needs to regulate at 10 Bar, an 8–13 Bar spring would generally be preferable to a 4–10 Bar spring, because 10 Bar is at the upper limit of the latter.

Changing the Valve Pressure Range
Changing the internal spring allows a compatible Z-Tide pressure control valve to operate over a different adjustment range.
This can be useful when:
✓ System operating pressure changes
✓ A valve is moved to another application
✓ An existing spring requires replacement
✓ A different control range is required
✓ Refurbishing an existing Z-Tide valve
The replacement spring must be correctly matched to the valve model, valve size and required pressure range.
Pressure Reducing Valve Springs
For Z-Tide PRV pressure reducing valves, the spring determines the adjustable downstream pressure range.

Pressure Sustaining / Back Pressure Springs
For Z-Tide RFT and RFF pressure sustaining valves, the spring determines the adjustable upstream pressure that the valve is designed to maintain.
These valves may also be described as back pressure valves (BPV).
Pressure Limiting / Relief Valve Springs
For Z-Tide RLT and RLF pressure limiting valves, the spring determines the adjustable pressure at which the valve begins controlling or relieving excessive system pressure.
These products may therefore also be referred to as pressure relief valve springs.
