Description
Pneumatic Quarter Turn Actuators – ISO 5211 Single & Double Acting
Our pneumatic rack and pinion quarter turn actuators are designed for reliable automation of ball valves, butterfly valves and other quarter-turn valves.
Available in both single acting spring return (AAAR) and double acting (AADA) versions, these compact actuators provide high torque output, long service life and direct ISO 5211 mounting for fast installation.
With torque outputs from 6 Nm to 350 Nm as standard, and larger models available up to 8,000 Nm (spring return) or 13,000 Nm (double acting), these actuators are suitable for everything from compact process valves through to heavy industrial applications.

Installation Recommendation
For reliable valve operation we recommend selecting an actuator with approximately 30% greater torque than the valve breakaway torque. This provides a suitable safety margin for pressure fluctuations, seal wear and long-term reliable operation.
Every actuator is fully function tested before dispatch. Temporary push-in fittings and silencers used during factory testing may be removed when fitting a NAMUR solenoid valve or other control accessories.
