1/2" WRAS Modulating Motorised Ball Valve 40 Bar ABV04W/9M
The ABV04W/9M 1/2" WRAS approved modulating motorised ball valve provides accurate proportional flow control for potable water, HVAC, building management and industrial water systems.
Combining a WRAS approved nickel-plated CW617N brass ball valve with an IP67 electronic modulating actuator, the valve can be positioned anywhere between fully closed and fully open using a 4–20mA, 0–10V or 0–5V control signal.
The actuator provides approximately 1.2° positioning accuracy across 75 positions, together with a 4–20mA position feedback signal and separate status/fault output. Full 90° travel takes approximately 12 seconds.
A modulating failsafe version is also available, automatically returning the valve to its designated safe position following loss of electrical power.

Precision Modulating Control
Unlike a standard motorised ball valve that simply opens or closes, the ABV04W/9M accepts an analogue control signal and positions the ball proportionally throughout its 90° operating range.

Modulating Failsafe Option
An optional ABVW/9MAR modulating failsafe actuator is available for applications requiring the valve to return automatically to a predetermined position following loss of electrical power.
This combines proportional valve positioning during normal operation with automatic failsafe return during a power failure.
Manual Override & Position Indication
The actuator incorporates a manual override allowing the valve to be repositioned manually when required.
A visual position indicator provides immediate confirmation of valve position during commissioning, maintenance and fault finding.
