2 Inch Motor Actuated WRAS Brass Ball Valve – Power Open/Close or Supercapacitor Failsafe
The CNX20 WRAS Series is a heavy-duty 2 inch motor actuated WRAS approved brass ball valve designed for reliable automatic control of potable water, water treatment, HVAC, process plant and industrial automation systems. Combining a WRAS approved nickel-plated brass ball valve with a compact IP67 quarter-turn electric actuator, it provides dependable shut-off, simple installation and long service life in demanding commercial and industrial environments.
Available in either standard Power Open/Close or optional Supercapacitor Failsafe versions, the valve is ideal for applications where WRAS compliance, dependable operation and automatic return to a safe position following power failure are essential. The actuator incorporates adjustable volt-free end-of-travel feedback switches, manual override, integrated anti-condensation heater and ISO5211 direct mounting for reliable long-term operation.

Control Options
Standard Power Open / Close
The actuator moves to the commanded position when powered and remains in position when power is removed.
Ideal for PLC, BMS and industrial automation systems where the valve position is maintained until the next command.
Optional Supercapacitor Failsafe
During normal operation the actuator functions as a standard Power Open / Close actuator.
If the power supply fails completely, the internal supercapacitor reserve automatically returns the actuator to its factory-configured safe position (Open or Closed depending on model).
Allow approximately 60 seconds continuous power during initial commissioning to fully charge the supercapacitors before failsafe operation is available.
