The CNX20 compact quarter-turn electric actuator is available in standard Power Open/Close or optional Supercapacitor Failsafe versions for reliable automation of quarter-turn ball valves, butterfly valves and dampers. Delivering 20Nm running torque (25Nm breakaway), the CNX20 features IP67 weatherproof protection, ISO5211 F03/F04/F05 mounting, manual override, adjustable volt-free position feedback and a compact, lightweight thermoplastic housing. Available in 12VDC, 24VAC/DC and 95–265VAC/DC models, the CNX20 provides a dependable solution for industrial automation, HVAC, water treatment and OEM applications.

Control Options
Standard Power Open / Close
The actuator moves to the commanded position when powered and remains in position when power is removed.
Ideal for PLC, BMS and industrial automation systems where the valve position is maintained until the next command.
Optional Supercapacitor Failsafe
During normal operation the actuator functions as a standard Power Open / Close actuator.
If the power supply fails completely, the internal supercapacitor reserve automatically returns the actuator to its factory-configured safe position (Open or Closed depending on model).
A minimum of approximately 60 seconds continuous power is required during commissioning to fully charge the supercapacitors before failsafe operation is available.
