Pneumatic Solenoid Valves
Pneumatic solenoid valves switch compressed air to cylinders, actuators and air-operated process valves. This page brings together every electrically operated air valve we stock, from M5 miniature valves up to 1/2" BSP, with coils from 12V DC to 230V AC.
Choosing a pneumatic solenoid valve
- 3/2 way: one working port. Drives single-acting (spring return) cylinders, air pilot signals and spring-return actuators.
- 5/2 way: two working ports for double-acting cylinders. Single solenoid with spring return, or double solenoid (bistable), which holds its last position when the power is removed.
- 5/3 way: adds a centre position (closed, exhaust or pressure centre) to stop or hold a cylinder mid-stroke.
- NAMUR: 3/2 NAMUR valves mount directly onto quarter-turn pneumatic actuators.
- Hazardous areas: ATEX versions in 3/2, 5/2 and 5/3 way.
